Eldmourne RP Wiki

As a minecraft roleplay server, Eldmourne RP is a collaborative effort between multiple parties in order for there to be a cohesive project in the first place. Due to this, there is a lot of content (art, images, sprites, mc builds, writing, etc.) created by a lot of different parties. The purpose of this policy is to ensure the protection of content rights for everyone involved. Do note that there may be changes to this policy in the future, and in such a case it will be announced in our discord server and on the forums.

1. Copyright
   1. Anything made for Eldmourne RP, or made and willingly used on Eldmourne RP goes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0)
   2. This includes but is not limited to characters, event lines, mechanical systems, lore, and anything else created for the server.
   3. Eldmourne RP has the right, in this way, to use any content brought to the server in posts, events, lore, or any other manner with proper attribution.
2. Attribution
   1. All content Eldmourne RP has license to use, CC BY 4.0 or any other license, will be attributed on the credits page of our website.
   2. Content in the public domain will be attributed to the best of our ability.
   3. Upon request, if you wish not to be attributed, any attribution can be taken off of the credits page of the website.
3. Illegal Content
   1. Content that is illegal will be removed and result in disciplinary action.
   2. Obscene content depicting minors will result in an immediate ban and reports to relevant authorities.
   3. Content that you do not hold the license to or you did not properly attribute will result in disciplinary action.
4. Official Content
   1. Content used in an official capacity on Eldmourne RP is content which is posted by volunteers or leadership through official Eldmourne channels including, but not limited to blog posts, news, server builds, and announcements.
   2. Any content posted needs proper licensing and rights to be used. This could mean public domain, creative commons, something you created, something you purchase, or other legal means of acquiring rights to a piece of content.
   3. A copy of a receipt is needed to be presented to the Eldmourne RP account with any purchased content to ensure legal protection on Eldmourne’s part in regard to any possible copyright notices.
   4. Personal information such as card numbers, legal names, or other personal information can be redacted so long as the important transaction details from the seller are visible and viable.
5. Plagiarism
   1. Plagiarism, or trying to pass off someone else’s content as your own, will be met with immediate disciplinary action.
   2. This includes claiming content you have the legal right to use but you did not create as something you created. (Like if you took a public domain image and said that you created it.)
6. Harmful Content
   1. Content which harms you or others is prohibited.
   2. Content which harms animals is prohibited.
   3. Content which harms children is prohibited.
   4. Sexually exploitative content, whether the individuals being depicted are of legal age or not, is prohibited.
   5. The use of any such harmful content as listed here or deemed by volunteer teams will result in an immediate ban and report to the relevant authorities.
